My favorite Web 2.0 application would definitely have to be my class Facebook page. I enjoy interacting with my students in a public environment, but in a place where they are a little more comfortable to express themselves freely. In all of their education, if students feel repressed, then chances are they won't put their full effort into any educational pursuit.

I am also exploring the use of twiducate, which is another Web 2.0 avenue. It is similar to twitter and blogging, but involves the teacher, students, and parents, which is a feature that adds value to the application. I hesitate to involve parents in the classroom to that extent, because, for example, students can be candid and express themselves on the Facebook page, whereas they are less likely to be when their parents can monitor their interactions.
